The time has come, friends, I must be going.
I’ve loved being a part of Zealous Good for the last seven (!!!) months, but now I’ve got to ramble on. On to the next thing. Neither bigger nor brighter, but different.
She is a lucky so-and-so, she who gets the rare chance to spend her time doing only that which she loves and believes in. I have loved and believed so earnestly and unabashedly in this enterprise. I’ve used so many exclamation points! I’ve learned about so many phenomenal causes and organizations, and met some extraordinary human beings.
I could sit here and wax poetic and at great length about the lessons learned and feelings felt, but you’ve been right here. You know this story. I’ll keep this brief and let’s all get to our weekends and our lives and our work which never ends, the task of trying to leave our world just a little better than how we found it:
That’s all. Thank you.
This communion has been an important one. I feel the gravity of this city, of the warmth and generosity and passion within it, constantly pulling me toward a richer perspective. A better self. Let’s keep making each other better. Let’s keep fighting this fight. Let’s keep and share and love our good.
Stay human, friends.
I’ll see you around.
