Here are a few tips that will help you get the most out of your Zealous Good experience:
1. Write a description. Be sure to give a clear description of your donation so that charities know exactly what the donation includes before they decide to request it. This could include the type of clothing, the model number for printer ink or the size measurements for furniture. If a charity has more information about a potential donation then they can make a better determination on if it would work for them and their needs.
2. Take a picture. A picture will give a visual of the donation to our charities and they are then able to see what it looks like. This is especially useful for larger donations such as furniture and larger electronics. We require our donors to upload a picture if it is a pick up donation so that our charities can see what the donation looks like before requesting it and then spending the time and resources to pick it up if they are matched.
3. Select the best category. Since Zealous Good charities select categories that they want to be notified about its important to make sure you select the best category for your donation so that the right charities are notified that it is available.
