July is a great month for being patriotic, sleeping under the stars, running through a sprinkler. But did you know it’s also a stellar month for giving back? This month it’s all about the kids! Several of our youth-based charities are hosting benefits to raise money for disadvantaged middle and high school students, college-bound students and high school teachers, and at-risk children and families. Also be sure to check out L.A.T.E. Ride, a late night bike ride, raising money to preserve, protect, and improve Chicago’s parks and forrest preserves.
