For years, we’ve been dreaming about expanding Zealous Good… and it’s finally happening! Zealous Good is launching it’s second city: Dallas! We’ve had great success in Chicago matching over $1,000,000 in needed donated items to over 400 non-profits. We’ve had demand from across the country and Dallas will be our first step in expanding to cities nationwide!
We know you have burning questions, and we’re here to answer them. Here are just a few and if you have any more, don’t hesitate to ask them in the comments section!
Why not?! Dallas is the 9th largest city in the US with 1.3 million residents. It has a wonderfully philanthropic community and lots of needs within it’s non-profit community. Additionally and importantly, it’s different than Chicago. The city of Dallas is less reliant on public transportation than Chicago. It’s climate and seasons are considerably different (Dallas didn’t have two polar vortexes this year!). We’ve had success in Chicago and we want to be successful in places that are different!
When is this happening?
Now! The Zealous Good team is working hard to recruit non-profits that are located in the Dallas area. Our goal is that by the end of July we will have a great core group of non-profits to work with. From there, we will begin asking the community for donations and connecting donated items!
How can I help?
We were hoping you would ask! We definitely need your help! If you know of any Dallas based non-profits, community centers or agencies, we’d absolutely love to be introduced to them. Our goal is to generate awareness of the work we’re doing and ideally get non-profits signed up as Zealous Good members! To sign up, they can visit ZealousGood.com/get or just send me an email and I’ll gladly share more about how we work!
Don’t know any charities, but want to donate, stay tuned and email us to receive an update when we launch donations!
Big D – we’re coming for you! We can’t wait to make major impact and create some good in your city!
