I don’t know if that subject makes sense or is grammatically correct. The one thing I know is that it is true.
Just yesterday, while working away, refining my approach to reaching out to local companies to see if they could donate excess inventory, I was emailed this quote from a spam email address –
“History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.” –Bertie C. Forbes
Pretty good motivation if you ask me! This is the beginning for Zealous Good and we are working hard to get companies to think of donating their excess inventory instead of tossing it or just holding on to it. This isn’t the way that every company thinks currently (no surprise there), but how great would it be if they did! How great would it be to widen the funnel that exists connecting non-profits to companies? It’s simple. One companies excess is a non-profits need. Let’s match it up. Let’s do some Zealous Good.
Do you have something you could donate or does your company have something gathering dust that could serve a non-profit? Email us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
