What’s Good in December

Snow has fallen and the weather has turned cold. That must mean it’s almost time for the holidays! Get into the spirit of the season and join some of our non-profit partners for a variety of events that give back.

December 4: One Million Degrees has planned an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and shopping to benefit OMD Scholars.

December 5: Logan Square Dog Park is hosting a pet care event with a raffle and demonstrations

December 6: Attend CircEsteem’s youth-created, directed and performed CIRCENSIS! There will be titans and tumbling, lyras and laughter, myths and monsters, and much more.

December 8: Enjoy a Wicked Night Before Christmas with Chicago House. This one-night cabaret features members of the amazing and talented Wicked company. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Chicago House and Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS.

December 12: Compass to Care is hosting a networking night with their Associates Board.

December 14-15: Browse and shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and art at the Found Chicago Bucktown Holiday Art Show.

By the way, if you can’t make it to any of these events, you can still support these charities – and many others – by donating items on Zealous Good! We hope you enjoy this fantastic September!
