What’s Good in January

Kickoff the new year with a bang by checking out one or more of the charitable events listed below. Doing good has never been so fun!

January 9: Run the 2013 Bank of America Chicago Marathon with Chicago Adventure Therapy! Attend an info session and meet fellow charitable runners.

January 11: Urban Gateways artist Carol Weston performs in concert at the DuPage Children’s Museum. The event is free after paid admission to museum. Bring the whole family!

January 18: Chicago Photography Center hosts its first “Wine & Critique” of the new year. Bring a bottle of wine and your best photos and get feedback on your work from industry experts and your peers.

January 20: Midwest Young Artists presents “Jazz in January: Big Band Concert” at Ravinia in Highland Park, Il.

January 24: Attend “Absolut Wrapture” a Chicago House benefit on the 99th floor of the Willis Tower. Proceeds benefit the 18-year-old organization that provides permanent, community-based housingsupportive services, and prevention outreach to individuals and families struggling with HIV and AIDS.

And remember, if you can’t make it to any of the events you can still support these and many other Zealous Good organizations by making a charity donation. Have a healthy, happy, and safe start to 2013!
