What’s Good in July

July is a great month for being patriotic, sleeping under the stars, running through a sprinkler. But did you know it’s also a stellar month for giving back? This month it’s all about the kids! Several of our youth-based charities are hosting benefits to raise money for disadvantaged middle and high school students, college-bound students and high school teachers, and at-risk children and families. Also be sure to check out L.A.T.E. Ride, a late night bike ride, raising money to preserve, protect, and improve Chicago’s parks and forrest preserves.

July 1– Friends of the Parks’ L.A.T.E. Ride

July 11– Childserv benefit at Ravinia featuring The Blue Brothers

July 11– Common Roots Initiative Happy Hour Fundraiser

July 19– Cabrini Connections Annual Golf Tournament

And remember, if you can’t make it to any of the events you can still support these and many other Zealous Good organizations by making a charity donation. Usher in summer on a good note and give generously!
