What’s Good in October

October is arguably the spookiest month of the year (Columbus Day? Frightening!) and the fall-iest month. This year it’s also a great month to give back and learn something new! We’ve even snuck two September events on the list because they’re happening TONIGHT and we know you’re looking for Friday night plans!

Bonus: October is National Adopt-a -Shelter-Dog month. Please consider donating (or adopting!) at one of our many great, dog rescue organizations that include: Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), Found Chicago, Seconhand Snoots Rescue.

Birdie from Found Chicago supports National Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month!

September 28: Dank-Haus and the Irish American Heritage Center present: McToberfest

September 28: Big Shoulders Fund Ball

October 4: Center for Neighborhood Technology hosts panel discussion: Reinventing Chicago: What’s Technology Got to Do With It?

October 19: Cabrini Connections hosts Martini Madness

October 22: Entrepreneurs Unpluggd Hosts Fall Startup Law Summit

October 27: Child’s Voice Autumn Gala

And remember, if you can’t make it to any of the events you can still support these and many other Zealous Good organizations by making a charity donation. Usher in fall on a good note and give generously!
